Liberal Party Announces Candidates for Lake Macquarie Local Government Election

Councillor Jason Pauling has been endorsed as the Liberal Party’s Mayoral candidate for the 2016 Lake Macquarie City Council Elections, fronting a strong and united team across all three wards.

Kevin Baker of Cameron Park, will be leading the North Ward ticket; and Nick Jones of Nords Wharf, will be leading the East Ward ticket.

Running in the number two positions for West, North, and East Wards will be Johanna Uidam of Wangi Wangi; Jack Antcliff of Charlestown; and Erin Black of Belmont.

Cr Pauling, who currently serves on Lake Macquarie City Council, said “I’m proud to be running for Mayor – I’m determined to bring some real business acumen to the running of Lake Macquarie, to bring this city the status it deserves – starting with returning the budget to surplus within the next term”

“Both Kevin and Nick are deeply committed to the Lake Macquarie community, and bring their extensive commercial and project management experience to the table. They lead teams that will make a substantive and meaningful contribution to the people of Lake Macquarie.” Cr. Pauling added.

All candidates were endorsed unopposed.
